whee.

Probably the only piece of art I finished within a single day.
That's a record, right?

good news for people who love bad news

My stash of smaller paintbrushes have disappeared:[
I guess this is one way to make me use bigger brushes, but I'm very sad for my loss anyway.
I'm waiting for my canvases to dry after the improvements (let's hope) I've made.
Critique tomorrow. I'm scared >.<
I found some weird thing of a sea horse with a bunch of shells I found, so maybe I'll do something with that for the next piece....eep.

fishie fishie fishie!

So, for the second piece of mine, it's deep water.
I want it to have this slight glimpse of a sea creature/fish/something in the bottom corner...so I was looking for possibilities.
(go Google)

Kind of creepy.
I like the fins and the teeth best.
Color would be a good contrast.

Like the tail.
Bright against dark water.
More simple.

I mostly liked how shiny it was; thought it could be interesting to paint.
Like the shape.
Interesting.

Smaller than the rest.
It's kind of cute looking.
I really liked the colors; it's more soft and would definitely contrast to the dark of the water.

lazy.

Went through my house for pieces I've done for my breadth thing since I'm going over that on the twelvth. I don't have my 3 Cups of Tea painting, or my controversial one. And the glazing one (ew) is up at the library. I think other than that everything else I have? I guess we'll find out.
I should be reading Siddhartha for English right now, but I'm bored with that book already, and don't want to. Oh well. I found my old sketchbook from last year, and so I need to put that in my portfolio so I won't forget it...
Listening to It Must Have Been Love by Roxette; go Pretty Woman soundtrack. Classy movie, childhood favorite. Uhh.
I'm thinking of doing something in my sketchbook to avoid my other homework. I dunno, maybe I'll end up reading my book instead. My book for German looks very loved; it's all highlighted--color-coated and all--and written on. Yay for no one else taking the class at L-ridge so we get to keep 'em?
We have a huge thing of cookie dough at my house right now. It's like, a Costco-sized tub of pre-made Nestle dough. Maybe I'll devour some of that. Or I could have toast.

who knew robots can bleed?

I'm rather tired.
But, I woke up and helped put up stuff at the library, wee!
...right.
I don't know what to do for my sketchbook.
Maybe I'll draw the really awesome cut/scrape I got on my elbow last night
(since I jumped, slipped on wet pavement, and fell hard).
It was quite pretty with the whole 'blood-trailing-down-my-elbow-while-I-trick-or-treat'-thing...
Maybe I'll do that. Or I'll be unoriginal and find some random pic online and go from there...eh.

I'M SO TIRED.
and I have to start painting tomorrow.
eep.
